Managed IT ⟶ Digital Audit

Digital Audit

You have a state-of-the-art IT environment – or so you think. Yes, because who can really assure you that all the latest and greatest IT tools you implemented are actually delivering the results you expect? The best – and only – way to achieve this level of understanding is through a comprehensive IT audit. Through this, you’ll be able to understand how your entire ecosystem of digital tools and solutions is performing against your goals and requirements, as well as receive a detailed report with a step-by-step roadmap that outlines how to improve or fix certain parts of your IT infrastructure. An IT audit and its findings, however, are only as good as the partner who conducts it. And if you choose to work with a partner like Basecamp Studios, you choose the expertise, reliability, and professionalism of a partner who just gets it.

To protect business continuity

One of the main aims of an IT audit is to check the performance and reliability of an organization’s IT environment. It goes without saying, then, that these audits also help companies create solid disaster recovery plans that ensure business continuity even in the event of a crash or any other type of system failure.

To comply with legal requirements

Gone are the days when only the healthcare and financial sectors were subjected to strict legal requirements. Today, an increasing number of industries is highly reliant on them – from cosmetics companies to food producers. By joining forces with a trusted partner like Basecamp Studios, you’ll have the peace of mind that your IT environment remains fully compliant with both local and international regulations, so you’re always on the right side of the law.

To better manage risk

The risk of a cyber attack always seems to be around the corner – in some cases, though, a system’s vulnerabilities leave it so exposed that the attack could be sudden and truly catastrophic. With an in-depth IT audit, we’ll help you identify any potential risks, weaknesses, and other types of vulnerabilities before cyber criminals do and exploit them for their own good.

Our Digital Audit journey

Explore our tried-and-tested process to support your IT environment
  • 1. Initial Assessment and Goal Setting

Before we make a start on your IT audit, we like to set aside some time to get to know you, your business, and the goals and challenges related to your current technology. We normally do this either via phone or video call, or, if we’re local to you, via a face-to-face meeting.

  • 2. Thorough Digital Audit

Once we are all happy with what has been discussed and decided, our team will get started on your IT audit. Depending on the size, scope, and complexity of the project, the audit might take a few hours or a couple of days.

  • 3. Findings, Recommendations, and Strategic Support

Now, for the big reveal: after your IT audit, we’ll provide you with a comprehensive list of our findings, as well as a detailed, step-by-step roadmap to get you on track to success.

Are You Ready?

We enjoy working with like-minded people who are passionate about creative ideas, results, and lasting relationships. If that’s what you’re looking for in an agency partner, we would love to speak about your project and get it going!

Frequently asked questions

Couldn’t find what you were looking for? Drop us a line or give us a call, and our IT team will be happy to answer any questions.

When can we get started?

If you have never done an IT audit before, we suggest scheduling one as soon as possible. You might be using outdated systems, or some of your tech tools might be vulnerable to cyber attacks, so you don’t want to waste time. Simply get in touch with our team and we’ll make sure to schedule an audit to fit around your business commitments and requirements.

How often should I schedule my digital audits?

We recommend yearly audits to begin with, but you can certainly schedule more frequent audits if you think it’s necessary. Similarly, there are specific times for a business when an IT audit is vital. These include, for example, changes in management, the acquisition of new technology, an upcoming merger, or a drop in overall performance.

How long do IT audits take?

It largely depends on the size and complexity of your IT environment. If you’re currently running only a handful of digital tools, your audit will take a few hours. If, on the other hand, your IT landscape is large and complex, it might take a full day, or more.
